Welcome to doberman911.org, the website for Special Needs Dobermans (SND). We are an organization of people with a common goal of helping senior and special needs Dobermans. That need may be financial or it may be only information and/or moral support for the owner of a Doberman with a serious illness or injury. We will also aid in rehoming and fostering senior Dobermans. These Dobermans may be shelter rescues or they may already be much loved companions with a special need. Financial aid may be through donations or through avenues such as online auctions. Every precaution will be taken to assure that the need is real.

However, a routine visit to the vet threatens Jullian's happiness and his new life as he has symptoms of the dreaded DCM. To read more about this Sweet Senior, you need only go to Jullian's Page. HAPPY TAIL!!
September, 2009: Miss Gypsy is now stabilized and continues to thrive on her regimen of desmopressin which treats her diabetes insipidus - it's costly but it keeps her alive! Look at her beautiful new picture on her page!! Help us continue to help Miss Gypsy!!

Gypsy is a gorgeous 8 month old DobeGirl who was adopted by her foster parents, 2 young children and another rescue, Reece. For several months the family loved watching their little girl grow and laughed at her crazy puppy antics. However 3 weeks ago Gypsy got sick enough to be hospitalized for several days. Test results showed Diabetes Insipidus, controllable through medication. But not too many people can say they have the cash to handle this kind of emergency, so Gypsy's family is asking SND for help with the $1000.00 hospital bill and for the $150.00 monthly medication bill. Please visit Gypsy's Page to learn more about this Dobe. Please help in anyway that you can and thanks SO much for your continued support! You can help by sending in a tax-deductible donation online by using the PayPal button to the right, or by mailing one in. Thank you for any assistance you can provide to help with Gypsy's medical needs.
