How You Can Help

The first way you can assist our senior Dobes is to help us find them homes! Equally important though is to let us know about any seniors needing rescue. There are many people interested in giving our seniors homes. Even more people will realize they want to help once they read about these seniors. One of the best ways to reach them is to make the information as readily available as possible. Getting your seniors on the web and in Doberman Digest is a great start! Use the Add Your Senior link to the left to add a senior to our database.

Yet another way you can help is by spreading the word about this project. If you have a website, please add a link to us! Let us know if you do so we can add a link back to you. Tell as many people as you can about the project - your friends, fellow Dobe people, your family, everyone!. The more people that know about it, the better our chances are of finding new, loving homes for our older friends. Always feel free to send us suggestions or ask us any questions that you might have by emailing us!

You can also help our seniors that come to us with special needs. As many of you know, rescue Dobes often come hurt and in need of medical care. This care can often be more than what a rescue organization or individual can afford. Special Needs Dobermans (SND) was created to help in such cases. We raise money to help people take care of their Dobe's special needs. Any Dobe listed in our Seniors In Need section that has special needs will have a link back to their SND page where you can find out how you can help them. We have also established a Seniors General Fund. This fund will operate just like the SND General Fund - to provide financial assistance to every senior Special Needs case that we can help. This will be in addition to member donations and our fund raising efforts. The one difference is that money sent to the Seniors General Fund will be used solely for seniors.

If you would like to help us with this Fund, you can do so by making a tax deductible donation or by sending in items that can be used for our eBay fund raising auctions. Monetary donations can be made either online with a credit card by using PayPal (button below), or by mailing us a check or money order.
