 This Penny IS from Heaven!!
Lovely 10 year old Penny was brought to rescue by her homeless owner who called Doberman Rescue of Nevada when she realized her Senior girl needed medical help she could not afford. Little is know about Penny’s history prior to her being given to a homeless women who cared for her the best she could. What is know is Penny was found dodging traffic on one of Las Vegas’ most busy 8-lane roads in a poverty-stricken area after she was chased out of a parking lot. A good hearted couple witnessed several close calls in the road and got her out of the street. They could not keep her so she was given to a homeless women who lived off whatever she could scrounge. She loved and cared for Penny the best she could but she could tell that Penny had horrific teeth making it hard for her to eat and she was dangerously skinny. That’s when she heard of DRNV and called them asking if they could help Penny. Penny has had many of her teeth extracted, given antibiotics, and is being fed a special diet for her malnutrition. Penny rides well in the car and is in surprisingly good shape other than the issues with her teeth and her malnutrition. She has a sweet nature and it hoped a special forever home can be found for this lovely Senior girl. Special Needs if any: None after her recovery. Geographic areas for adoptions: Any state in the western part of the U.S. as long as a home visit can be arranged. New adopters must come to Nevada to meet the Doberman they wish to adopt and bring with them any pet who lives in the home.
