Sammy!
Sammy is a handsome 12 year old gentleman who came to DRU when his beloved owner died. This adjustment to his life was a struggle until he found his niche living in the Treatment Room. Here he can snooze on his Fido Fleece bed and play with his rope toy and Jolly Ball. He is a delightful walking companion although he's not fond of meeting other dogs along the way. While Sammy will pick through trash if he gets a chance, he's good in the house and will move out of the way when one is watching television. He is also protective of and fiercely loyal to the people he loves. At 12 years of age he is a grumpy old man who tells it like it is and expects to be the first dog walked in the morning and have his meals served on time. Special Medical needs: He takes soloxine, Pepcid and joint Health Supplement. The Sponsor A Senior program helps Seniors by raising funds for their rescue programs.
