Meet Miss Peanut!!
   
Now I'm just Peanutty GOOD!!

Peanut is an 8 year old Senior girl who came to rescue in 2019.   She was so thin it would make you cry.  She had been fed cooked rice with a little meat in it by her owner then was surrendered to rescue because they claimed their child was allergic to her.  It took a while to get her to eat dog food and put on weight.  Because of her poor diet she had severe tartar build up on her back teeth and when the vet put her under to clean her teeth her heart stopped on the table.  Fortunately, she was revived but due to her terrible life experiences she will be allowed to remain at the rescues the rest of her days.
