Blue is a mature gent at 10-years-old with an adorable face. He was surrendered when his owner no longer had the means to care for him and we are happy to have him in our program. We were told that Blue lived in a basement and he needs to gain some healthy weight. Despite this, Blue has a lovely, gentle temperament. He loves to meet people and get pets and ear scratches. Blue has no known history with kids or cats but was relinquished with another dog and said to be good with them. He can probably be placed with an easy going companion that will let him take a relaxed approach to life in his golden years. He would probably be best placed with children 12 and up who know how to behave appropriately around large breed dogs and give them their space. He would appreciate a fenced-in yard (no e-fence). If you have a low key home and want an easy-going pal, Blue would love to meet you. Seniors rock!
