Meet
Mr. Max!! Who throws away a 14 year old Doberman?! Max’s family. They claim they could not afford his care and this landed him in animal control in North Carolina. All of our fosters were full but when the shelter called and said they had him, there was no way we weren’t going to find a place for him. He went from Fayetteville, NC to Dothan, Al in a long 9+ hour transport where he was perfectly content to just hang out in the back seat of several cars and play with his new gator toy. Other than some arthritis and an upper respiratory infection, he has proven to be healthy. He is in a foster with other senior dogs and enjoys sunbathing and playing with his toys. The Sponsor A Senior program helps Seniors by raising funds for their rescue programs.
