Break Time!! 

Spirit is a big, lovable hunk of a senior Dobie.  He was adopted from us years ago, but his adopter became increasingly disabled and was finally unable to look after his own needs, much less Spirit's.  He had decided to put the dog down rather than return him to life in a kennel, but his sister called us, and we assured her that he would not be kenneled - he would have an enjoyable life as a free-roamer on fenced acreage with indoor access via doggie door.  Though somewhat disabled (arthritic) himself in his rear legs, Spirit uses the doggie door, loves his freedom and other dog friends, and receives pain medication every day!
