Cashman, usually called Cash, was relinquished by his owner at the very senior age of 11 years. He was living in an apartment with a small child and another one on the way. His requirement of needing numerous walks per day to relieve himself became too much for his owner since he had no yard at the apartment. Rescue agreed to take him if was dog-social and thank goodness he is. The sad part is although his needs are being met, he is used to always being indoors, coddled, and pampered like a child and he clearly misses that very much. Cash has been well cared for and is in good health for his age. He’s not a hospice case but a dog we hope could live out his remaining years happier than he is now!
