Meet
Miss Elfie!
At 10 years old Elfie came to Dogwood Doberman Rescue in Durham, NC from a shelter. She has multiple lipomas on her body and a very large tumor on her mammary chain. Her teeth are terrible and she is heartworm positive. She will be getting lots of vet care, maybe for the first time in her life, before she is ready for adoption. If her mammary tumor is malignant she will remain with her foster in the rescue for the rest of her days. Through all she’s been through she is still strong, affectionate, and very smart. Special Needs: See above. Geographic areas for adoptions: North and South Carolina - Not available for adoption until treatments are complete.
