Kuro is a deserving senior who, with her mate, endured surrender to an animal shelter with no reason given. We learned later they were not kenneled together and are not a bonded pair. Kuro tolerates other dogs and is living with a senior male dobie and an annoying 7-month old dobie mix but it’s clear she would not mind being an only dog. While in a temporary foster home she exhibited behavior that seemed to indicate she had never lived inside a home but was learning housebreaking and obeying commands. She is a small girl weighing about 55 pounds!
