Meet Senor Rio!! Que? Que? No hablo ingles!! Hey, yo quiero Taco Bell! That's english, right?? Meet handsome Rio! This 7 year-old dober knew the political situation in Mexico was unsafe even for dogs and one day ran across the border into Brownsville, TX. A good citizen saw it happen and opened her car door and he just jumped in. Thinking no way was she was going to send him back she contacted the angels of SADAR and they took him in. Rio is a wonderful Senior boy who gets along with all the dogs in his foster home and is very sweet. He was thought at first to be deaf but was later found to simply not understand any English. Lessons are now underway and he is responding beautifully. He's learned 'sweet boy,' 'treats,' and lots of other handy to know things: Dinner, outside and playtime!!
