Kate in Cincinnati, Ohio

Southwest Ohio Doberman Rescue (SWODR) pulled Kate from a county shelter in Kentucky, where she had been brought as a stray. She is now safe at their kennel facility. Kate is as sweet as can be! She gets along with other dogs of both sexes, tolerates cats, and adores people. She spends most of her time in SWODR’s office, where she acts as our official greeter. She's quite the cuddler. She loves to be petted and scratched, and will stand for a massage with a look of utter bliss on her face. Her favorite thing is to have her tummy rubbed. Kate walks with a little unsteadiness in her rear (she does NOT have Wobblers), but gets around very well. She enjoys walking on SWODR’s ½-mile unpaved walking route at the rescue. Kate is approximately 9-10 years old, fawn, has natural ears and a docked tail. She takes a thyroid supplement and PPA for mild spay incontinence. Kate will make a wonderful, devoted companion for some lucky person
