Valdez!
Valdez's family turned her into rescue because they can no longer care for her.
Valdez is suffering from Retinal Degeneration. She currently has a slight problem with her
vision, and eventually will go blind. However, she is still very active for a 7-year-old
Dobergal, and able to jump in an out of a SUV, on and off the couch, run up and down the
stairs and go wherever her human leads her.
Valdez is black and rust, cropped docked, micro-chipped, and spayed. She is house-trained,
good with children and other dogs, but has no exposure to cats. When she is off lead she
will come right back to you when called. She lives to go for car rides and especially likes
looking out the windows. If you encourage her, she'll put her head on your shoulder and
give kisses while you drive or lie on the console so she can be close to you! She's very
good in the house, and only wants to be loved and petted. She needs to be in a home where
she can spend the remaining years of her life with a loving family that will protect her when,
eventually, her vision total fails. All in all, she's a wonderful dog, easy to love and so
much wanting to be part of a family that will keep her for the rest of his life.
