Meet Miss Sheker!! A Turkish Delight whose favorite dish now is "A la King!!"

Eleven year-old Sheker was flown over from Turkey when Mary was contacted by a woman who saw her in Animal Control. Her owner's son while playing ball with her threw it into the road just when a car was coming. Sheker was hit causing massive injuries to her rear end. Not wanting an imperfect dog she was taken to animal control. When Sheker arrived in the US she was a mess. Nobody had ever helped her to express her bladder after the injury and she developed a massive bladder infection that took months to clear up. Her back legs are totally useless so Mary purchased a wheel chair. Sheker is the most loving dobe who just wants to be like the rest of the dogs she lives with. When not in her wheelchair, Mary made her a little bag out of an old pair of jeans, complete with suspenders. She looks so cute running out the door and loves to spin around in the soft dirt to express her joy.

Special Needs if any: Must be on a dose of antibiotics for her chronic urinary issues and Previcox for pain.
