Raven's owner died in a car accident and poor Raven waited and waited for her Dad to come back. It was during this time she developed her "serious" look. She became quite confused and clearly missed her owner very much. She is now safe in foster care looking for a home to share her love. Her foster parents would describe Raven as quite laid back, while demonstrating all the qualities we so much admire in this breed. She has no known medical needs.

This beautiful sweetie is 7 years old, black/rust, cropped, docked, and spayed. She knows all her basic commands, and is alert and bright. She lived with a dog much older than she and currently lives with both male and female Dobes. She has also lived with a cat, and if you are not paying attention, she loves to sneak a bite of the cat's food or treats. Fortunately she doesn't sneak a bite of the cat, too! When you offer Raven a treat, she sits up in an amazing pose to earn her reward. This very special Dober-lady deserves to spend the holidays in her forever home with a family that will love her and help her learn to smile again. IDR will adopt within the geographic areas of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
