Ready?  Here we go!!

Piper has a couple of new year’s resolutions:

1: Lose some weight.

2: Get adopted.

This sassy 9-year-old gal came to IDR+ via another rescue, and she has been a perfect house guest in her foster home. She is housebroken and doesn’t mind the other dogs. However, she wants to chase the kitties and enjoys running around the yard barking at squirrels. When she arrived with us, she weighed 110 pounds, but she already lost 10 thanks to an appropriate amount of food and plenty of trotting around the yard. She has some textbook lumps and bumps, but her heart sounds great! Piper is a wonderful companion who just wants a forever home to chill out in. According to her foster mom, she’s no trouble. Our only complaint is she doesn’t ham it up for the camera like most of the other orphans, so she’s not photogenic. But she has a wonderful disposition and would love to find a forever home.
