Millie!

Millie's owner died and the surviving relative was going to have her euthanized. A neighbor stepped in and took her to Doberman Rescue of Colorado. Millie is currently in foster care looking for a forever home. Millie is between 8 and 9 years old, black and tan, spayed, and has natural ears and a docked tail. Millie is very well behaved and obedient. Her obedience is basic and well established. Beyond basic obedience, she has a great deal of off-leash training and is entirely responsive to recall. She gets along well with all people including children. She is good with cats and other dogs, but can be bossy. She loves car rides, but scratches. Millie is very bouncy and outgoing - and she wiggles so much you'd think her rear end would fall off! She is currently taking some medication for her incontinence.

Millie's new mom wrote to us to let us know how Millie is doing in her new home. Millie's mom writes:
"My husband and I brought Millie into our family about a month ago. She has been such a special addition to our family! We went on a road trip to Snowmass and she and her younger brother loved it!!! She ran around like a puppy on the mountain trails. We are adjusting to walking two Dobermans at once - at first it was a little challenging but I think we are getting the hang of it! There's not a moment that goes by that Millie's tail isn't wagging full force! We tease her that her "battery" charges all night long only to be run down all day long! It really feels like Millie has been in our family forever - she adjusted so well and is such a wonderful dog! We love her so much!!!!!!"
