Nine year-old Tasha is the newest resident at Northern California Doberman Rescue who wishes she could talk to fill them in on her checkered past. Her original family gave her to friends because she was a bit too rowdy for their young children. At the time she was about one year old. We’re not sure what happened to her between the age of one and today but she was recently picked up by Animal Control as a stray. The shelter found a chip and the contact information care up to her original owners. When they were contacted they were very concerned and still felt responsible for her. They immediately drove several hours to bail her out of the shelter. However, they no longer live where they could have a dog so she was brought to Red Bluff, CA. Tasha has settled in nicely and enjoys time outside in a large yard before the heat of the day sets in. When it gets too warm she seems quite content with her living quarters in the air conditioned “Senior Room”. She would love to have a home where she could be the center of attention and who would make sure she never ends up in “doggie jail” again.
