Zoe and her Best Friend Forever, The Champ!!
Say hello to one adorable Doberpup--Zoe! Zoe's Mom, Jodi, has a bad case of Doberitis! She rescued her first Dobe, Ginger, several years ago, and now she's an official Dobernut. Ginger was with Jodi for three years before she went to the bridge--not nearly enough time--leaving Jodi devastated. But, Jodi rescued another Doberman, Champ, and we all know Dobermans are like potato chips--we can't live with just one, so, enter Miss DoberCuteness, Zoe.
Turns out Zoe is VonWillebrand's positive, with a very severe case of the disease. So severe, her vet decided that Zoe's spaying needed to be performed at a specialty clinic. So, what was to be a routine spaying turned into a $2300 operation. To make matters worse, Jodi recently lost her job.
The good news is Zoe is doing great! She made it through the surgery, and is recuperating and is back to her cute self. But Jodi took a financial wallop with Zoe's unforeseen medical problem, and while she's out looking for a job, she needs our help! Jodi says Zoe is your happy and typical Dober! She's beautiful and athletic and so smart! She learns very quickly--so quickly, in fact, that she had Jodi well trained in a month or two. So now Champ and Zoe allow Jodi to sleep in the bed at night, and Zoe lets Jodi know when it's time to play--you know how those Dobies go and get their toys and plop them in your lap? That's Zoe!
Jodi says that Zoe has helped Champ, once a shy boy who was probably abused, come out of his shell. You can see from their photo above just how great a pair they are! Please help this up and coming wiggle butt's Mom pay the vet bills, so Zoe and Champ can maintain the lifestyle to which they (and every Dober) have become accustomed!
