Tasha
SND first learned of Tasha when her owner posted to the SND Cafe List. Here is an excerpt from the post:
"Hello. My name is Dawn and I have a 5 year old red, floppy eared Doberman named Tasha who is in
need of x-rays and bloodwork to rule out Wobbler's Syndrome. I am disabled and on fixed income and
the cost for these procedures is $333.00. Tasha has been my constant companion since her adoption at
AZTEC RESCUE in San Diego, Ca 3 years ago. Currently she is experienciing weakness in back legs and
falls down. My vet didn't have any Dx for me yesterday but today she said she woke up in the middle
of the night and Wobbler's Syndrome came to her mind and seemed more hopeful if I could get the funds
for these tests. Do you think that there is any funds to help us or give me some direction as Tasha
is just too young for this not to be treated. Thank you. And may god bless."
