Sydney
Sydney is a 2 year old blue girl that was rescued by Doberman Rescue Group Oklahoma (DRG) from Abileen TX. Several weeks ago our President, Steve Martin, received a call from a young lady in Abileen TX who had witnessed a man beating a Dobe at a flea market. She and her husband managed to get possession of the Dobe and then started calling around looking for a rescue organization to turn her into. The response they got was totally negative - mainly they were advised to take her to the local shelter -- where she would probably be pts. When I heard the story I called Marcia with DRG, and she set up a conference call with Lin Grado and within minutes arrangements had been made to take Sydney into DRG's rescue program. It turns out that Sydney had several growths that must be removed and analyzed and, of course, she has heartworm. DRG is totally stretched so Steve offered to submit the case to SND to assist.
