Star is a 14 year old female Dobe belonging to Liz DeAguirre in Minnesota. Star recently underwent an operation to have a tumor removed from her leg which amounted to $750. She is on thyroid medication and anti-inflammatory med for arthritis. Liz has worked out a payment plan with the vet for the operation but now cannot afford Star's medication. Liz is disabled and on a VERY small fixed income. She has asked for assistance to pay for the medications. Liz also asked for assistance paying for food for Star. Since SND cannot pay for basic maintenance we would like to assist with the outstanding vet bill in order to provide some relief so she could pay for dog food.
