Meet Miss Splash!!

My RescueAngel Dana named me Splash because I look like I got splashed with acid!!

From beginning to end, here's all my sides - for right now (I hope), they're all bad!!

We are happy to introduce MISS SPLASH, a happy and sweet Dobergirl who needs our help! Splash's story begins on the streets of San Francisco, wandering around alone, when she was spotted by a Good Samaritan. Splash was taken to the SF Animal Shelter, and the Doberman RescueAngels once again set out to help a Dobe-in-need. Splash spent a night or two in the Bay Area before being driven to Northern California Dobe Rescue in Red Bluff. Dana Johnson took one look at this girl's coat and named her Splash, thinking that perhaps Splash's unusual lesions were caused by someone splashing her with acid. Dana took Splash to see the vet right away, who noted that along with the strange lesions, Splash also has an obstruction of air flow in her nasal passages. Further testing and biopsies are under way. The good news is no cancer was found! But Splash's condition remains a puzzle as the dedicated doctors try to determine the cause of the infections--fungus, or bacteria?--and the correct course of treatment.

Northern California Dobe Rescue is busy as always, and Dana needs help with the bills for the work already done on Splash, plus her continued care. And, Miss Splash will also need to be spayed before she can find her forever home. Dana describes Splash as a happy, tail-wagging, prancing pooch. She's a tad picky with her food, but other than that, she's a Dobergirl through and through!!

You can help Miss Splash by sending in a tax-deductible donation online by using the PayPal button below, or by mailing one in. Won't you help us help the RescueAngels of Northern California? No amount is too small! Thank you for any assistance you can provide!
