Ryker is a handsome young Doberboy in the care of Doberman Rescue Group of Oklahoma.
He was found wandering the streets of Tulsa, and after he came into rescue, it
was discovered that he was both obedience and house trained! He is a very sweet
boy, and everyone in the rescue group loves him!
At the end of March, this 1-1/2 year old neutered male was placed in a home on a
trial basis to see if he would get along with the couple's other Doberman.
Everything went very well, until the third day. Ryker became unresponsive to
calls or touch. He would not stand up, and tremmbled constantly. He was returned to rescue
and taken to the vet.
Upon returning to Woodland. An EKG determined that Ryker's heart is not
sending out electric pulses properly and that he requires a pace-maker. The
vets at Woodland who will be attending to Ryker are Dr. Jones and Dr. Henson.
The cost of the surgery with the pace-maker normally would run $2500 - $4000, but
they are offering a substantial discount.
Please contribute generously, so that Ryker can receive the pace-maker that he needs
in order to live! He is a wonderful young Doberman who just needs a chance. No
donation is too small, and we appreciate anything that you can do!
