Phelanie
Phelanie (pronounced "Felony") is a sweet 4 year old girl who has had a rough time of it lately. Approximately 2 years ago she was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. Addison's is not cureable, but manageable with a monthly injection of of Percorten. Phelanie also takes Proin for incontinence and Soloxine for hypothyroidism. All in all, her diagnostics ran her family close to $1,800 and her monthly medications run about $300 per month! Recently Phelanie was diagnosed with a possible heart murmur. The vet's want to x-rays and some tests to see if Phelanie is developing heart disease, but her family is at the end of their financial rope!
