Nigel
Nigel is black, cropped and docked Doberman, estimated to be about 8/9 years old. He wound up in a
Tennessee shelter, and because of a lot of team work from a number of caring people, he found his
way to Doberman Rescue of North Carolina. Cyndi Swanson, the director states, "Nigel appears to have
had a rather tough life up to this point, with a number of scars on his face and legs, but that does
not discourage his wiggly tail when somebody speaks to him. He is gaining weight quickly and
becoming a bit more active when outside. We recognize that he could be a very long hold 'till someone
with the right circumstance and a great amount of compassion comes along, but we feel that he is well
worth saving."
