April 7, 2008 was a very sad day indeed Jennifer and Petie. Their dear sweet Mary Catherine was released to her peace after a very long and hard fought battle against lymphoma - Taken too soon at the tender age of four. The world is a smaller place for having lost this beautiful spirit but her Star will always shine down on her loved ones making the heavens in the sky shine even brighter with her light. We wish her family peace -- we all grieve with you both.

Before Mary Catherine was 1 yr. old, she was tossed out of her 4th home. Her savior, disguised as a vet tech, called an Angel named Jennifer who promptly gave the pup a home and named her after her savior. At the tender age of 3, during a routine check up it was determined that Mary Catherine had lymphoma. The first round of chemo was very successful and the lymphoma went into remission. Unfortunately it has returned. Jennifer has drained her life's savings desperately trying to give her "little muffin" the quality of life she so richly deserves and had been denied her whole first year of life. Thank you for any assistance with the rest of her chemo treatments and follow up care.
