Holly
is the twenty-one month old doberkid of Sally. Adopted as eight week old puppies,
Holly and her sister Clover have owned Sally's heart since their arrival. In
early January, Sally noticed Holly limping and having difficulty getting up
after lying down. She took her to her vet and spent $500.00 for x-rays and tests.
Holly was diagnosed with a ruptured ligament in her rear left leg and now needs
Tight Rope surgery to repair it. She was placed on Tramadol and Rimadyl for
pain and inflammation until the surgery can be done. Sally then went on a quest
to locate a vet in the Phoenix area to perform the surgery. She
found a vet with experience in this procedure but now needs $2,500.00 before
he will schedule the surgery as he does not accept payments. Sally has recently
closed her business due the economic downturn and cannot get credit. She has
raised half of the money by selling things and re-organizing her household but
she still needs your help.
Please help SND assist Miss Holly to get the surgery she needs to stabilize her leg so she can run and play dober games with her sister Clover again. Sally is working very hard to raise funds on her own but $2500 is a very steep hill she can't climb as qucikly as her DobeGirlie needs - now or in the forseeable future...
