Baker Street
Baker Street is a 13 year old female Doberman, who lives in Nashville, TN, with her owner, Cheryl McGee. Baker is suspected of the early stages of congestive heart failure. She has been coughing, and is taking lasix for fluid in the lungs and abdomen, but additional blood work and X-rays must be taken to rule out the possibility of cancer, and get a firm diagnosis. Currently Baker is still eating well, and all waggy tailed, her owner tells me. She will not let Baker suffer, but wants to give her as much quality time as she possibly can. She cannot afford the remaining diagnostics that Baker needs in order to determine the best course of action for her. SND was happy to help Baker receive the diagnostics that she needed. As we were able to cover this, no fundraising is needed at this time, but if diagnostics reveal that we may be able to futher help Baker, her case may be reopened.
