Annie

Annie is a beautiful 4 year old female Doberman living in Ohio. She has an acute case of
osteochondrosis (OCD). Osteochondrosis is a generalised disease in which there is a disturbance of
normal cartilage formation during the growth of an animal. You can read more about this disease at
Provet .
Annie's owner has volunteered with Doberman Rescue groups for years and has two other Dobes in addition
to Annie - all of whom are rescues! After over $1200 in diagnostic work, Annie went to Ohio State University
vet school where she was evaluated for surgery and determined not to be a good candidate. Annie needs pain relief in the
way of accupuncture and/or medication. Unfortunately,
Annie's owner is out of work right now and looking at surgery for herself and there is just no more money.
