Angel
Angel is a 10 1/2 female that belongs to Dorothy with Phoenix Dobe Rescue. The last couple of days Angel has stopped urinating. She has had numerous blood tests and has been xrayed. They still have not discovered the source of the problem and the vet would like to do an ultra sound. At this point Dorothy has exhaused her available funds. Angel needs to have her bladder drained by the vet and she needs medication to relax the muscles to promote urination.
Dorothy was one of the founding personalities of SND. Due to a case where she personally financed the care of a rescue Dobe years ago, she very early on recognized the need for an organization to fill a gap that COPE couldn't handle. Dorothy recruited Steve Martin, who is now SND President. And then came the Dutchess case and the rest is SND history. Last year Dorothy's husband died and she now lives on a shoestring. Her health is poor so she can't work and all extra $s go to rescue. Thus she is not in a position to do the necessary thing for Angel.
